How to prevent people from seeing your age on Facebook?

Facebook is gaining unprecedented popularity in social networking and it is equally important to stay away from posting highly personal information from people. One such information is your Birth Date. People can misuse your complete Birth date in many ways (calculate your age harmful for girls).

Well here is how you can prevent birth year from showing up or even preventing Birthday to show up at all.

1. Go to your Facebook profile:
2. Click on Edit My Profile below your profile image.
3. Check your basic information.
   
4. Check Birthday.
5. You will see an option to prevent birth year from showing up in a drop down.
6. Just select Show only Month and Day in my profile.
7. Save your settings and you are done.
