The Domain Name Provider for Wikileaks.org was EveryDNS. EveryDNS stated that it dropped the website late on Thursday after it was being targeted by many Denial of Service Attacks.
EveryDNS said in a statement that the attacks have threatened the stability of its infrastructure. Incidentally it is a US based Company.
Wikileaks expressed its disgust via its post on Twitter saying that the domain had been "WikiLeaks,org domain killed by US everydns.net after claimed mass attacks KEEP US STRONG https://donations.datacell.com/"
For some time Wilileaks.org was up but now its down permanently.
